Intrasavings Bank: Personal loan is gaining popularity

Intrasavings Bank, an online consumer credit intermediary, sees a strong demand for personal loans. Consumers who want to borrow money increasingly prefer a personal loan, in addition, the average amount that they want to borrow is decreasing.

Consumers can go to Intrasavings Bank for three types of consumer credit, the personal loan , the revolving credit and the WOZ credit . Research, probably based on our own figures, shows that the personal loan at Intrasavings Bank has become very popular in the past year. In 2008, for example, 18% of all applications for a personal loan were, now it is 37%.

The revolving credit has to lose popularity, in 2008 there was 82% of all forms of borrowing money, in July 2009 it was only good for just over 59% of all applications. The WOZ credit , which was not yet offered by Intrasavings Bank in 2008, accounted for almost 3.5% of all applications in 2009.

In addition, the average consumer wants to borrow less money. In 2008, each request accounted for an average amount of 18,580 US dollars. In 2009 that amount fell to $ 16,673. Intrasavings Bank calls the number of applications to transfer an existing loan stable.
